What do you offer?

WHAT KIND OF TRIPS DO YOU PLAN?

Travel Italian Style was created to help travelers experience and connect with Italy’s iconic and historic landmarks across all 20 regions, while also immersing themselves in the beauty of its local lifestyle, rich culture, and cherished traditions. TIS specializes in organizing customized travel experiences for solo travelers, couples, honeymoons, families, friends, and small private groups of up to 15 guests.

DO YOU BOOK FLIGHTS?

No, we do not book flights. However, we will assist with overall scheduling and recommend the airport in Italy for arrival and departure. We are also happy to provide personal opinions on specific airlines upon request.

DO YOU BOOK ALL OF ITALY AND YEAR-ROUND?

Yes and Yes! Our founder has personally traveled to all 20 regions of Italy and has created experiences throughout the entire country. Italy is not just a summer destination, every season offers something unique and unforgettable (even winter)!

HOW IS MY CUSTOM TRIP TO ITALY PRICED?

Pricing depends on many factors, including but not limited to where you are visiting, how many days, and how many guests. Once you complete an inquiry form, we are able to give you an idea of the approximate budget per person. Expect a standard budget for a 10-14 day vacation to start at 7,500 - 9,000+ Euro per person.

If you are working with our partial planning service you can expect prices to start at 4,000-7,000+ Euro per person.

We are committed to providing the highest level of personalized service and creating exceptional travel experiences tailored to each client. Our pricing reflects the quality, expertise, and attention to detail that go into every itinerary and service we provide.

HOW IS ITALY TRAVEL AFFECTED BY PANDEMICS AND WAR? CAN YOU PROVIDE DETAILS ON FUTURE TRAVEL?

Due to the unpredictable nature of geopolitical events, our travel company cannot forecast the occurrence of pandemics, wars or conflicts. We prioritize keeping our clients informed on these disruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. However, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance to protect your trip.

CAN YOU GET US SPECIAL DISCOUNTS AND DEALS?

Here at Travel Italian Style we work directly with our trusted Italian local partners who provide exceptional service and access to some of the best guides, accommodations, tours, and experiences throughout Italy. As locals based in Italy, we spend significant time building relationships with our vendors, which often results in personalized attention and special experiences for our guests.

We believe in quality over quantity, and we carefully select partners and accommodations that meet our high standards. For this reason, our pricing reflects the level of service, expertise, and curated experiences we provide.

CAN YOU HELP WITH A DAY TRIP OR TRAVEL QUESTIONS?

At this time, we are unable to book single-day trips on their own. To enjoy the full Travel Italian Style experience, we recommend our Full Custom Travel Planning service, designed to ensure you have the best possible vacation from start to finish.

However, if you prefer to plan your trip independently and simply need expert guidance, we also offer our Consultation and Travel Advice Calls. This service is perfect for self-planners or travelers who already have an itinerary in place but would like local insight, recommendations, and personalized advice. TELL US ABOUT YOUR TOUR GUIDES? ARE THE TOURS PRIVATE OR SHARED?

Our CEO, Cassandra Lena Santoro works alongside trusted, family-run companies throughout Italy. Our main partner has more than 60 years of on-the-ground experience in Italy. Together, we bring together our trusted network of expert guides, private drivers, and regional specialists to create a personalized trip. As a team we have helped thousands of clients over the past decade enjoy personalized, authentic, and unforgettable journeys throughout Italy!

We specialize in private experiences tailored to our clients. However, for travelers who prefer a more social atmosphere, we can also arrange small-group tours in select cities. To ensure a more intimate and high-quality experience, our shared tours are limited to no more than 8 guests.

WHAT KIND OF ACCOMMODATIONS DO YOU BOOK FOR US?

Depending on your budget and travel style, we offer carefully selected 4 and 5-star hotels, luxury bed and breakfasts, farmhouse stays (agriturismo), castle, and private villas throughout Italy. We can also arrange unique accommodations and experiences, including glamping and monasteries in select regions of Italy.

Please note that we provide only a limited selection of apartments that are personally owned or managed by trusted local partners. We do not work with third-party apartment booking websites.

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?

A non-refundable, one-time planning fee is paid upfront to cover the time and expertise involved in designing and organizing your custom Italy trip. This fee covers up to 15 guests traveling on the same itinerary and schedule.

Once your itinerary has been completed, reviewed, and approved based on your agreed-upon budget, the remaining balance is due in full.

Please note that Travel Italian Style does not begin any planning work until the custom planning agreement has been signed and the planning fee has been received.

We would also like to emphasize that there is no obligation to book the itinerary or services we propose. While we proudly stand behind the quality of our recommendations and partnerships, we fully respect your freedom to choose the services that best fit your travel needs. After receiving your customized proposal, you are welcome to book all, some, or none of the services provided.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

The planning fee for all Travel Italian Style services is non-refundable. In addition, any tickets or reservations purchased on your behalf are also non-refundable once confirmed and purchased.

All other bookings are as follows: 
From 0-60 days prior to departure, the total cost is non-refundable.
Please note, there are certain exclusive experiences where costs are completely non-refundable upon booking; we will be sure to discuss this with you prior to payment. 

Travel insurance is highly recommended, as refunds are not available after the 61-day deadline, even in emergencies such as acts of war, terrorism, political, health or weather emergencies.

DO YOU ORGANIZE FOR GROUPS OR SPECIAL EVENTS SUCH AS WEDDINGS?

We welcome private groups of up to 15 guests traveling on the same itinerary and schedule. At this time, we are not accepting large groups or special events. We apologize for any inconvenience.

HOW LONG DOES THE PROCESS TAKE?

The full planning process typically takes between 1.5 to 4 months, depending on the complexity of your requests, the number of guests, and the length of your trip. To provide the highest level of service through our trusted partners throughout Italy, we recommend beginning the planning process at least 2 months in advance.

WILL WE HAVE ACCESS TO AN EMERGENCY NUMBER WHILE IN ITALY?

Yes, absolutely! We have an assisting (multi-lingual office) on the ground in southern Italy that is available 24/7.

DO I HAVE TO PLAN A DAY TRIP OR TOUR EVERY DAY?

Not at all! Every itinerary is customized around your travel style and preferences, and we highly encourage free days to relax and explore at your own pace. We also provide a personalized resource guide with insider tips and recommendations so you can make the most of your independent time throughout Italy.

DO YOU BOOK RESTAURANT RESERVATIONS?

Yes! Once planning begins, you will be connected with our Restaurant Concierge, who will assist with personalized restaurant recommendations and reservations throughout your trip.
