do I have to complete the forms before booking a call?
We know forms aren't always fun, but this is the best way to receive an accurate estimate on your trip. It's worth the few extra minutes to complete before our one complimentary 15-minute call, we promise!
DO YOU BOOK FLIGHTS?
No, we do not book flights. However, we will assist with overall scheduling and recommend the airport in Italy for arrival and departure. We are also happy to provide personal opinions on specific airlines upon request.
HOW IS MY CUSTOM TRIP TO ITALY PRICED?
Pricing depends on many factors, including but not limited to where you are visiting, how many days, and how many guests. Once you complete an inquiry form, we are able to give you an idea of the approximate budget per person. Expect a standard budget for a 10 day vacation with basic accommodations to start at 7,500 - 9,000+ Euro per person. If you are working with our partial planning service you can expect prices to start at 6,000-7,000+ Euro per person. We want to make sure you get the best experience possible with us, which is why we offer top-notch luxury services tailored just for you. Our prices and services are all designed to meet this high standard of excellence.

HOW IS ITALY TRAVEL AFFECTED BY PANDEMICS AND WAR? CAN YOU PROVIDE DETAILS ON FUTURE TRAVEL?
Due to the unpredictable nature of geopolitical events, our travel company cannot forecast the occurrence of pandemics, wars or conflicts. We prioritize keeping our clients informed on these disruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. However, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance to protect your trip.
CAN YOU GET US SPECIAL DISCOUNTS AND DEALS?
Working with TIS, you will always be provided with excellent services and what we believe to be some of the best guides, accommodations, tours and experiences. As locals in Italy we spend much time with our vendors, which often leads to special service for our guests. We believe in quality. This means our prices and accommodations are priced accordingly.

CAN I BOOK A SINGLE TOUR OR DAY TRIP?
Unfortunately, we can not book only a single-day trip. Even if you have some plans in order, our Full Custom Travel Planning is the best way to get the full Travel Italian Style experience. This is to be sure you have the best vacation possible.

WHAT IF I ONLY NEED SOME ADVICE FOR MY TRIP AND NOT FULL PLANNING?

DO YOU OFFER SHARED OR GROUP TOURS?
We can offer you shared tours in select cities but most of our experiences are private.
WHAT KIND OF ACCOMMODATIONS DO YOU BOOK FOR US?
Depending on your budget, we offer 4 + 5-star hotels, luxury B&Bs, castles, and villas. Please note that we only offer a limited selection of apartments owned or operated by our team or colleagues throughout Italy. If you prefer to book apartments or more budget-friendly options, please consider our PARTIAL PLANNING service. Contact our team for details!
HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?
A non-refundable, one-time, flat planning fee is paid upfront to cover our time organizing your trip. The rate covers up to 14 guests traveling on the same itinerary and schedule. Once your tour itinerary is completed and approved, based on your agreed-upon budget, the final amount is paid in full. No work is done by Travel Italian Style until the custom planning agreement is signed and the planning fee is paid.
We would like to emphasize that there is no requirement to commit to booking our proposed itinerary. While we confidently stand behind the quality of our offerings, we fully respect your choice in selecting the services that best suit your needs. Upon receipt of our information, you are free to choose to book all, some, or none of our services as you see fit. Please note that our planning fee is intended to compensate for the time and effort invested in researching and delivering insider insights tailored to your preferences.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
The planning fee for any services booked with TIS + any tickets purchased on your behalf are non-refundable upon purchase.
All other bookings are as follows:
From 0-60 days prior to departure, the total cost is non-refundable.
Please note, there are certain exclusive experiences where costs are completely non-refundable upon booking; we will be sure to discuss this with you prior to payment.
We highly urge you to purchase travel insurance, even in the case of extreme emergencies, it is difficult to guarantee any money back after 60 days.
Please be aware that our cancellation policy remains unchanged in situations beyond our control including wars, pandemics, or any external circumstances
DO YOU ORGANIZE FOR GROUPS OR SPECIAL EVENTS?
We welcome solo travelers to groups of 20 guests. At this time, we are not taking on large events. We apologize for any inconvenience.
HOW LONG DOES THE PROCESS TAKE?
In order to provide you with excellent service through our small business and family-run contacts, we no longer offer rushed services. Therefore the entire planning process takes about 1.5-4 months, depending on your requests, guest count and length of your trip.
WILL WE HAVE ACCESS TO AN EMERGENCY NUMBER WHILE IN ITALY?
Yes, absolutely! We have an assisting (multi-lingual office) on the ground in southern Italy that is available 24/7.
DO I HAVE TO PLAN A DAY TRIP OR TOUR EVERY DAY?
Not at all! We create your itinerary based on your travel preferences, and days off are highly encouraged. We also provide a resource guide with tips for exploring on your own so you can make the most out of your free days.
DO YOU BOOK RESTAURANT RESERVATIONS?
Yes! As part of our Full-Service Custom Travel Planning Package. We will suggest a couple of restaurants per day during your trip. We then take care of the booking of these locations or your own requests.
